Photo blues

There is something quite sad in the modern photo cameras : you can delete, take another picture or save it right after taking it. With the old photographic films, you had to wait the pictures to be developped and there was some kind of excitement before receiving them and while going through them for the first time. How many pictures would be really nice ? Would the picture with the flying bird be blurred ? I miss that.

Maybe this is a reason why there is such a renewal of interest in silver traditional cameras. Or in filters you can add on your digitally taken pictures, as above. Contre-jour, filters, softwares... all means are good to recreate this old photo look.

Soon I will develop the picture taken this summer with an old camera from my dad's student years and post them here. I am excited to see the result but I won't be surprised if not even one picture is acceptable. I guess I will feel again the thrill I miss nowadays in photography.
