I crave you
I couldn't stop hearing this song the all summer long!
This boy's got my head tied in knots with all his games
I simply want him more because he look the other way

Show me your ipod, I'll tell you who you are.
I think to some point I judge people on the music they listen to. It is often one of the first questions I ask when I want to get to know someone. Seeing someone's music playlist tells me a lot as well. Some profiles are very defined, maybe cliché but still close to the truth :
- The guy who wants to impress with its music culture : its music player is full. Favorite sentence : "Whaaaaat? You don't know that band, I know it for ages and has all its 379 albums, I can send you some music and teach you life by the same occasion".
- The guy who listens to music nobody listens to : he has a pretty wide knowledge of music but he is not used to talk about its own tastes because people do not even the name of the genre but is pleased to share information when you are really interested in discovering a new style.
- The guy who only listens to one type of music : his ipod is a living encyclopedia of the style and you can learn a lot about it if you are interested but the exchange of music and information is very limited as soon as you listen to a different type of music that he usually does not enjoy.
- The guy who listens only to the radio. He knows all lyrics of the current top 50 and mix up The Doors and The Roots. No further comment needed.
A few days ago one of my colleague told me that he does not like music. I was really bewildered and I could not put him in any category because he is the only one I know like this. I wonder what it means.

July Flame
Pretty story for a pretty song...
On a day in late July 2008, when the sun was hot enough to melt the skin, Veirs and a friend stumbled upon a booth at the Portland, Ore. farmer’s market selling July Flame peaches. Veirs so liked the name that she suggested she and her friend each write a song with that title. They bought a bunch of peaches and canned them in their bathing suits on the hottest day that summer.
The peaches, spiked with cloves and drenched in syrup, turned out great, and the song is one of Veirs’ best ever.

The (few) songs I know by heart.
The songs I know from end to end are not that much. And there is a story everytime.
Very beautiful story and I did not need to learn the lyrics, it just touched me... (sob)
Mmmh simply the best Rock Lady since decades. I'm invicible on Singstar with that one, just try and I will make you cry.
My favorite singer from my mom's belly days. Love her Irish voice.
Last Christmas. Bet. Karaoke duet. With choreography. Enough said.
K., we belong together, 'cause baby when you left I lost a part of me... Ok K. don't be ashamed, it's part of our history. We will sing this song to our grand children. And they will think it's so oooold schoooool and soooo cooool. They will never imagine that it is stupid joke from our teenage time.
